Dirt Cheap Airline TicketsThese days, it seems as though it’s common knowledge that if you need to fly somewhere it is going to cost you way more than you are willing to spend. A round-trip airline ticket can cost you hundreds of dollars and that’s only for one person! Taking a family vacation can be a financial nightmare if you don’t know exactly how to find the best deals. Below is a quick guide to finding dirt cheap airline tickets.

plane tickets
Once you determine your destination, your next step is to call the airline and make a reservation on a flight. Airlines employ many people who process these reservations and your tickets. There are personnel who take care of travellers at the reservation desk and the check-in counter at the airport.

Say Goodbye To Paper Tickets

Say Goodbye To Paper TicketsPaper tickets will soon be a thing of the past. So get ready to tell your grandkids about when you use to have to provide a paper voucher in order to get on a plane. In less than a year the entire airline industry will be going high-tech and get rid of paper tickets all together. E-tickets will save airlines an astounding $9 per ticket (which we doubt they'll pass on to you) and better yet, it'll save 50,000 defenseless trees from losing their lives just so you can travel.

Southwest and Bar Refaeli help TripCart kick off Beach seasonWhile half of the United States is buried in snow, Southwest airlines has decided to help out TripCart and cheer up the freezing citizens of the east coast by kicking off Beach Season. They even went to the trouble of painting a plane that will inspire people to plan their beach vacation on TripCart. You should not have trouble spotting this plane, pictured above but for the die-hard aviation nuts out there, the plane can be identified by the FAA Registration number on the tail of the 737-7H4 model,

Upgrades & Perks

When it comes to upgrades and perks, we know that you will find a plethora of information in our guide. How many times has your flight been delayed, bumped or cancelled altogether? How much stress had you gone through standing in never-ending lines? Do you know that there are formal and informal rules & laws in place to protect travelers from such inconveniences?

This was one of the more interesting sections we created, and it really came out well, better than we had planned for. What we did as a group was write down a list of INDUSTRY-WIDE METHODS to ask for upgrades & general perks while traveling. The end result was a list of questions and demands you can make at the counter and at the gate to enhance your travel experience. By expressing yourself the proper way and using the right words, your requests will be granted. Whether it be a free or low cost upgrade to a first or business class seat, free food, alcohol, or anything else you seek, we have it covered.

Discounted AirFares

   Discounted AirFares

There are many buying strategies that can be used to purchase airline tickets at deeply discounted rates. As you may already be aware, there are many different ways you can buy a ticket. You can call your travel agent, do a few searches online, contact the airline directly or show up at the airport. What our guide is designed to do, is to tilt the odds in your favor when it comes time to pay so you end up paying less than what others are paying. This is accomplished by citing different rules & regulations, filing complaints, using the proper terminology to negotiate your fares, and "constructively" criticizing your agent, and also asking to speak to managers. If you want to save big money, you just have to know what to say and how to say it. You don't have to yell or appear aggressive, just ask.

You have to remember, they don't want to lose you as a regular customer. When you truly demonstrate that you are unsatisfied or upset, all of the sudden, that agent or airline will somehow MAGICALLY have a ticket for you at a deeply discounted rate or issue you a TRAVEL VOUCHER no matter how full the flight is. As you may have already witnessed onboard airlines in the past, flight attendants and captains will go around and ask any passenger to give up their seat "by offering two airline tickets for the price of one" just so that "you" upset/unsatisfied customer can fly.

OverviewWhether you are a frequent flyer or the occasional traveler, we know that you will not find a more comprehensive, in-depth guide on how to save on AirFare and Airport Fees. Buying airline tickets shouldn't break the bank. There are many ways to purchase airline tickets at very affordable rates, however, the trick is knowing how the ticketing systems work. The airlines want to make you believe that each flight is nearly full, and that only a handful of seats are available.
